Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
There have been many days that I started out on the wrong foot because of something such as a spat with the wife, or an argument with one of the kids, or something like the furnace going out in the house… and “BAM!!” All of a sudden we’ve just hit a life obstacle! To some these may seem minuscule and to others these are big/major hurdles to get through my/our everyday living.
Soooo for me… I learned years ago that these are what some like to call life’s lessons! These so-called lessons are what mold us into the men and women that we are.
I say all this because I’ve had a couple of these lessons that have pushed me to the edge of breaking down. Only then can you look up and ask why? Not that you’re going to get an answer but you wonder, “What did you do to deserve this?” It’s in those moments that I had to step back and reflect on faith and Gods words in Romans 8:28, and knowing that God has a plan!! I may not know it but He does, and we have to be able to accept that his plan is much greater than our own personal plans.
Needless to say I (with a lot of assistance from God) made it through those times. Did I enjoy them? Heck no! Do I want to do it again? Absolutely NOT! But God brought me through them just like he can with you! It’s only human to question, but just remember God has a plan to get you through your situation!
