Is it really so bad?

Is it really so bad?

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually. Psalm 105:4

When I think about the current virus outbreak and people talk about how bad things are, I just have to chuckle. Most of these people have roofs over their heads, electricity for their entertainment devices, food in the cupboard, clothes on their backs, fuel for their vehicles, and the most important thing, toilet paper. Many people do not know what it is like to have no shelter over their head, no electricity, no heat, no food, no vehicle to go anywhere, nothing except the clothes on your back. I could be referring to the homeless population. But I am actually thinking of a different time and place. I am referring to the civilians of Japan and Germany in 1945. On top of all that they did not have, they also had to worry about bombs dropping from above. What would you do and where would you go if you had absolutely nothing and no transportation to go anywhere? With a blockade around the islands of Japan, the people were being starved into submission the last year of the war. And I am aware of only two cities that were not bombed out of existence by the Allies (Kyoto and Kokura). How did these people survive? And if they could survive that, our country can definitely survive this situation. It's all a matter of perspective. I cannot say what got them through that time. But the words of God can help all of us during this time.
