Is your prayer a steering wheel or a spare tire? Wow! Too often mine is a spare tire. I recently saw this on a sign outside of a church and brought it to my husband’s attention. He mentioned how it fit’s right in with Todd’s sermon from January 26th.
Colossians 2: 6-7 says "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
This scripture tells us that prayer should be our steering wheel. If we are rooted in the word of God we are asking Him to steer or guide us. He will remain nearby and rescue us when we have a “flat tire” and give us fullness of life all the time.
