Basic Beliefs

Living Hope Community Church is built on presenting biblical truth, researched to be the most accurate interpretation based on the original author's standpoint, to a congregation of people from all denominational backgrounds and life stages, with the intention of bringing them into a closer relationship to God.

Our goal is to "Bring people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ."

OUR MISSION:

A = Adoration

What does God say?

Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "

                          Matthew 22:37-39

 Purpose:

Through our worship service, we give thanks and praise to God in an environment that is welcoming and engaging to both believers and the unchurched.

C = Community

What does God say?

"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."

                            Acts 2:44-47

Purpose:

To create a warm and inviting culture in which we develop relationships that allow us to share our lives (joys and hardships) with one another.

T = Transformation

What does God say?

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."

                             Romans 12:2

Purpose:

Sustain an environment which encourages and equips each of us in the lifelong process of maturing in our relationship with God and becoming more Christ-like.

S = Service

What does God say?

"For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

                              Galatians 5:13

Purpose:

We use the gifts God has given us to help and serve others so that God's love is demonstrated in a tangible way.

X = Multiply

What does God say?

"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.' "

                               Mark 16:15

Purpose:

Helping believers to embrace God's command and the prodding of the Holy Spirit to share the truth of Jesus Christ's love and forgiveness to a hurting world.
